It is with mixed emotions that the SPSP Board of Directors announces the resignation of Executive Director Chad Rummel as he transitions to become the next Executive Director for the Council for Exceptional Children. Chad will stay on through the upcoming annual convention in New Orleans.

SPSP is seeking a diverse pool of candidates for the next election cycle of Board members (positions starting January 2021). Members of the SPSP Board help guide the future and vision of the organization and field. Please consider adding your name for consideration or identifying a colleague whom you think would be a good candidate. No prior SPSP leadership experience is required. SPSP encourages nominations of colleagues and self-nominations nominations from both academic (large and small universities and colleges) and non-academic settings.
